Two cousins, Giovany Barrientos-Perez and Bayron Vasquez, have been sentenced to hundreds of years in prison for multiple counts of child molestation.
The men were convicted of abusing four young girls over a decade. The investigation began with a report from a school employee and involved a lengthy trial with testimony from the victims.
Judge Urioste described the case as “one of the most terrible” he’d encountered. The District Attorney commended the victims’ bravery and emphasized that it’s never too late to report sexual abuse.
