A 26-year-old Concord man was arrested early Friday morning after leading Sonoma County Sheriff’s deputies on a high-speed chase.
The pursuit began when the driver, identified as Kevin Marquis Onyejekwe, failed to yield to a traffic stop on Highway 12 in Boyes Hot Springs. The chase ended when Onyejekwe crashed his vehicle in Sonoma. He then fled on foot but was apprehended by deputies. A search of the vehicle revealed a stolen handgun, ammunition, suspected narcotics, and drug paraphernalia.
