A former teacher and coach at American Canyon High School is headed to prison after pleading guilty to child molestation charges.
On Monday, 42-year-old Brad Rowell was sentenced to 15 years in state prison. In December, Rowell pleaded guilty to ten counts in Napa County Superior Court. Police first started investigating Rowell last year, after a 15-year-old student reported he sexually abused her on campus during the 2023-2024 school year.
Prosecutors say he also molested a child in Stanislaus County between 2008 and 2010.
