A woman killed in a crash with a semitruck in Lake County has been identified as 76-year-old Frances Novak.
Novak died on Christmas Eve, after semitruck hit the driver’s side of her SUV on Highway 53, near her hometown of Clearlake Oaks.
The California Highway Patrol says the collision happened as she was attempting a U-Turn. The driver of the semitruck was not injured and stayed on the scene of the accident.
