The Sonoma County Board of Supervisors has approved a major renovation project at the Charles M. Schulz – Sonoma County Airport.
The project will focus on rehabilitating and expanding “Apron C,” where commercial aircraft park, load, and unload. The $20 million project is primarily funded by federal grants, with the airport contributing a portion of the cost.
This upgrade comes as the airport experiences significant growth in passenger traffic, with passenger numbers expected to reach a record high this year.
