Early Monday morning, a Santa Rosa Police Officer pulled over a vehicle on Cleveland Avenue near Steele Lane for a traffic violation.
During the stop, the officer found a loaded 9mm handgun in the center console. The driver, identified as 29-year-old Nicholas Vanthong, is prohibited from possessing firearms.
He was arrested on multiple charges, including being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm and ammunition, and carrying a concealed firearm in a vehicle.
