Santa Rosa firefighters responded to a fire at St. Vincent de Paul Commons last night.
Crews arrived to find smoke coming from an apartment and rescued a woman trapped inside. The fire was contained to the unit of origin, and the sprinkler system helped prevent the fire from spreading.
The woman suffered smoke inhalation but declined medical transport.
Fire investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire.
