A 15-year-old boy was injured in a shooting yesterday afternoon near Hilliard Comstock Middle School in Santa Rosa.
Police say the shooting stemmed from a fight between the victim and two other teenage boys, believed to be related to gang activity. The suspects fled the scene but were quickly apprehended by a responding police sergeant.
The victim was transported to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg. This incident remains under investigation.
