An Antioch man is under arrest following a dramatic police chase that began in Rohnert Park and ended with a collision on Highway 101 in San Rafael.
Casey Joseph Beck is suspected of burglary and multiple assaults with a deadly weapon, after allegedly using his vehicle to ram a police car during the pursuit.
The chase began in Rohnert Park and involved both Rohnert Park police and the California Highway Patrol. On Highway 101, Beck drove in the wrong direction and attempted to ram a CHP motorcycle officer.
The pursuit ended when a San Rafael police officer used his patrol car to stop Beck’s vehicle. Beck is expected to be booked into the Marin County Jail following his release from the hospital.
