Two brothers stranded in the remote Mendocino National Forest for nearly a week have been rescued.
The brothers, Alan and Ivan Campos Rodriguez, became stuck when their vehicle got stuck on a rugged road last week. A multi-agency search and rescue operation was launched after authorities received an emergency alert from one of the brothers.
The brothers were eventually located and brought to safety. Authorities are reminding the public of the importance of preparedness when traveling in remote areas.
