The popular Mitote Food Park in Santa Rosa will be closing its doors at the end of this month, according to a social media post.
The park, known for its diverse food trucks, has been operating on a temporary lease while the county develops the surrounding area into a mixed-use hub.
However, county officials say they did not order the park to close this month and that the lease agreement provides for closure in June. The county is currently constructing the “Tierra de Rosas” project, which includes a designated space for a future food market.
Mitote operators have expressed interest in applying for that space, but the county has not yet made a decision.
