Santa Ana Winds To Return To Southern California Today

Santa Ana winds that fueled devastating wildfires in Southern California are forecast to return today.

Firefighters in the Los Angeles area are still working to contain the deadly Palisades and Eaton fires, which started nearly two weeks ago killing at least 27 and leaving more than 14-thousand homes and businesses destroyed. The high winds, with gusts up to 80 miles per hour, are forecast through tomorrow.

As of Sunday night, the Palisades fire was 56% contained while the Eaton Fire was 81% contained.
