Early Saturday morning, Santa Rosa Police responded to a report of a man brandishing a firearm during an argument.
Officers located the suspect, David Lesley, asleep in his car with a handgun within reach. Due to the suspect’s unresponsiveness, police deployed an armored vehicle and a drone to assess the situation. After over 30 minutes, the suspect awoke and was arrested without incident.
A loaded, unregistered 9mm handgun was recovered, and the suspect was also arrested for DUI.
