The Napa County Fairgrounds in Calistoga is returning to its historic name: Calistoga Fairgrounds.
The Calistoga City Council unanimously voted to restore the original name, reflecting the property’s local roots. The city purchased the 70-acre property from Napa County last year.
In a separate decision, the council voted against conducting a $38,000 community survey to gauge public opinion on the fairgrounds’ future. Despite this, the city remains committed to revitalizing the fairgrounds and making it a valuable community asset.
