Cary Snowden, CEO of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma Valley since 2018, announced her resignation effective June 30th.
Snowden is returning to Texas to be closer to family.
During her tenure, Snowden oversaw the merger with Teen Services Sonoma, expanded mental health services, and led the organization through the pandemic. Snowden was honored as Sonoma County Woman of the Year in 2022 and the club was named 2023 Nonprofit of the Year.
The board of directors has begun the search for a new CEO and expects to have someone in place by April 1st.
