Kelly Kriss, principal of Adele Harrison Middle School, has been named the Middle Grades Principal of the Year by Region 4 of the Association of California School Administrators.
Kriss was recognized for her strong leadership, including fostering a positive school culture, supporting staff, and prioritizing student success. Her colleagues praised her open-door policy, strong communication, and dedication to the school community.
Unfortunately, Kriss will be leaving her position as the school merges with Altimira Middle School at the end of the school year.
