A fatal shooting occurred Saturday night in southeast Santa Rosa.
Police responded to a disturbance at an apartment on the 4300 block of Hoen Avenue around 9:25 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found a man deceased. The incident stemmed from a dispute between friends. One man, 23-year-old Devin McKenzie, was arrested on suspicion of murder and booked into Sonoma County Jail.
Police are investigating the incident and have recovered a firearm from the scene. There is no ongoing threat to public safety.
