On Sunday evening, a pedestrian was critically injured after being struck by a vehicle on Farmers Lane near Patio Court in Santa Rosa.
The Santa Rosa Police Department reports that the pedestrian walked into the roadway outside of a marked crosswalk and was struck by a northbound Toyota Corolla.
The 48-year-old pedestrian was transported to a local hospital with critical injuries and remains hospitalized. The 21-year-old driver was uninjured.
The northbound lanes of Farmers Lane were closed for approximately 3.5 hours while police investigated the incident.
