California State Parks, in cooperation with CAL FIRE, will be conducting a series of pile burns at Jack London State Historic Park.
These burns are part of the park’s prescribed fire program to improve habitat, reduce fire risk, and manage vegetation. Burning will occur intermittently throughout the winter and early spring, weather permitting.
Smoke may be visible from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on burn days. Some trails may be temporarily closed during burning operations.
Burns will only be conducted on days approved by the Bay Area Air Quality Management District.
