The Santa Rosa Police Department (SRPD) is investigating a homicide that occurred on Whitewood Drive near Hearn Avenue on Monday, January 27th, 2025, at approximately 6:50 pm.
Officers responded to a 911 call and found an unresponsive adult female with significant injuries on the sidewalk. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The SRPD Violent Crimes Investigations Team (VCI) is actively investigating the incident. No arrests have been made and details regarding the cause of death, motive, and suspect identification are being withheld as the investigation progresses.
