Northern California Public Media is getting a major upgrade as renovations have begun on their new, much larger headquarters in Rohnert Park.
The 24,000-square-foot building, purchased last year, is triple the size of their old space. This expansion will allow NorCal Public Media, the home of KRCB radio and TV, to significantly enhance its operations.
The renovations will include state-of-the-art broadcast facilities, multiple radio studios, a new TV studio, and dedicated meeting spaces.
The goal is to create a hub for public media innovation. The project is expected to take several months.
