Someone who bought a lottery scratcher at a grocery store in Santa Rosa is a whole lot richer.
The scratcher, worth a million dollars, was sold at Oliver’s Market on Stony Point Road earlier this month. The California Lottery says a million dollars is the biggest possible jackpot for the Winter Magic Multiplier game. The odds of hitting the jackpot are one in more than three million.
The market gets a five-thousand-dollar bonus for selling the winning scratcher.
