SCBOS Allocates $500,000 To Support Undocumented Workers

Sonoma County Supervisors have allocated $500,000 to support undocumented immigrants and refugees.

The funds will go to community organizations providing “Know Your Rights” education about immigration law. This effort, channeled through the Secure Families Collaborative, follows a recent County resolution limiting local cooperation with federal immigration enforcement.

Supervisor Lynda Hopkins emphasized the importance of community partnerships in ensuring everyone feels safe and welcome in Sonoma County.
