Santa Rosa City Schools may not be closing any of its high schools.
A meeting on recommended school closures was held on Wednesday night. Every trustee in attendance indicated they are in favor of the option that keeps all high schools open. This is considered the alternative option. For several weeks, the prevailing scenario appeared to be closing three elementary schools, one middle school and one high school to address financial issues.
Trustees directed district administrators to look into the feasibility of several school closure options.
