The Luther Burbank Rose Parade and Festival is blooming again in Santa Rosa!
This year’s theme is “Growing Together,” celebrating Sonoma County’s agricultural heritage. The festivities begin on May 17th with the 10 a.m. parade down Fourth Street, followed by a festival at Old Courthouse Square featuring live music, vendors, and family activities like the water balloon toss and pie-eating contest. This beloved tradition, dating back to 1894 and once featuring Luther Burbank himself, was revived last year after a five-year hiatus.
Participants are encouraged to register online by April 4th and incorporate the “Growing Together” theme, along with roses, into their parade entries for a chance to win prizes. Organizers are calling for community support to ensure the event’s continued success.
