The hospital earned high marks in the Lown Institute Hospital Index for Social Responsibility, ranking second in California and among the top nationally. While strategic investments have reduced cash reserves, the hospital anticipates growth in the current fiscal year.
Despite a slight dip in operating margin, due in part to a surgeon’s departure, the hospital is implementing strategies to restore surgical volumes and improve efficiency.
