Former Windsor Mayor Dominic Foppoli, facing multiple sexual assault lawsuits, recently returned to his former hometown for a deposition that was ultimately canceled.
He now resides in Italy with his new wife, but his attorney stated Foppoli intends to return for his trials, one set for July and another potentially in late summer.
Foppoli denies the assault allegations, claiming the accusations have ruined his life and businesses.
While criminal investigations in several states didn’t result in charges, civil lawsuits brought by multiple women are proceeding. These include a case brought by a Montana woman alleging sexual assault, a suit by seven Jane Does accusing him of predatory behavior, and a lawsuit from reality TV personality Farrah Abraham alleging drugging and rape.
Foppoli is also involved in a legal dispute with his brother over the family’s Christopher Creek Winery.
