Santa Rosa Police narcotics team scored another major bust Friday night. S.R.P.D special enforcement team tells KSRO that a team of detectives have been investigating 2 men for drug trafficking in Santa Rosa for several weeks.
The team served the first of three search warrants at about 11:30 p.m. Friday on Plata Court, just west of Coddingtown mall. S.R.P.D. contacted and detained 26-year-old Santa Rosa resident Kevin Pimienta-Martinez and 30-year-old Santa Rosa resident Ivon Serna-Castrillo. During a search of a vehicle rented to Pimienta-Martinez a backpack containing approximately 15 pounds of meth along with a box of .22 caliber ammunition was located.
Pimienta-Martinez was a convicted felon and is currently on federal probation for narcotics sales. Pimienta-Martinez was prohibited from possessing ammunition. Through interviews, S.R.P.D then secured another warrant for a house on Arthur Ashe Circle in Cotati off East Cotati Avenue. Approximately one-half ounce of meth was located at the Arthur Ashe Circle location.
Pimienta-Martinez and Serna-Castrillo were arrested and booked into the Sonoma County Main Adult Detention Facility on the following felony charges:
