The price of gas is quickly increasing in Sonoma County.
Today, the average cost of a gallon of regular gas is $5.24, which is up two cents from Sunday. A week ago, it was $4.90 and a month ago it was $4.65. Sonoma County currently has the most expensive average gas price in the North Bay, ahead of Marin and Napa counties, respectively.
The statewide average is $4.85 and the national average is $3.16 per gallon.
