Sonoma Valley Unified School District Board To Consider Job Cuts At Next Meeting

The Sonoma Valley Unified School District board is set to consider significant job reductions at their meeting this Thursday.

Proposals on the agenda would eliminate 14 teaching positions and 19 classified staff jobs, aiming to address the district’s budget. The board will also discuss changes to meeting procedures, including limiting meeting lengths and public comment periods. Additionally, they’ll review comprehensive school safety plans.
