MORE SCHOOL CUTS: Sonoma Valley Unified School District Board of Trustees Votes to Cut 33 Jobs Before 2025-26 School Year

The board recently voted to eliminate 33 full-time positions to address a large deficit. A source told KSRO, “Staffing cuts were tough calls that kept us up at night. Sadly, everyone knew these cuts would come after we agreed to the negotiated labor agreement with staff recently, which ballooned the deficit to $2.3 million.”
