Another change in Wine Country, as Thumbprint Cellars closes its Healdsburg Plaza tasting room after 15 years.
This follows recent tasting room closures by other Napa Valley wineries. But don’t worry, Thumbprint isn’t disappearing. They’re consolidating operations and moving to their Geyserville headquarters. The winery will now focus on exclusive experiences for wine club members, including pickup parties and expanded public events by early summer.
Thumbprint founders, the Lindstrom-Dakes, are excited for this new chapter, building on their success with award-winning wines like their near-perfect 99-point Alexander Valley blend. It’s a trend we’re seeing more of: wineries shifting to more personalized, member-focused experiences.
