The Sonoma County Historical Records Commission has announced the winners of its fourth annual Collections and Archives Recognition Awards.
These awards celebrate those dedicated to preserving and sharing our local heritage. This year’s recipients will be honored at the Sonoma County Historical Society’s annual meeting on March 16th at Iron and Vine in Santa Rosa.
The honorees include Michael Acker for his ongoing preservation work documenting the Sonoma Valley’s history; Eowyn Medieros for her special project geo-locating and digitizing records at the Sonoma Mountain Cemetery; and Charlie Siebenthal for his individual excellence in preserving and sharing the railroad history of the North Bay and Coast through his work with the Northwestern Pacific Railroad Historical Society.
