The Sonoma State University women’s basketball team has two more games left in its season, and possibly in program history.
The Seawolves won their final home game on Saturday, beating Stanislaus State 76-to-41. The final two games of the season are at Chico State on Thursday and at Cal Poly Humboldt on March 1st. The men’s basketball team also beat Stanislaus State at home on Saturday, 78-to-72.
The university is planning to shut down its entire athletic department at the end of the school year to address a nearly $24 million budget deficit.
