Group Of Yosemite Workers Protesting Cuts Made By President Trump

A group of Yosemite National Park workers is protesting recent cuts made by President Trump.

Over the weekend, an upside down American flag was hung at the top of the famous El Capitan summit. The United States Flag Code says the American flag should only be displayed upside down as a signal of dire distress. One maintenance mechanic told the San Francisco Chronicle that the group wanted to bring attention to what’s happening at national parks.

The worker added, “It’s super important we take care of them, and we’re losing people here, and it’s not sustainable if we want to keep the parks open.”
