A new study reveals that Sonoma Valley residents could face hours of gridlock during a wildfire evacuation.
The SAFE Report, commissioned by the Valley of the Moon Alliance, found evacuation times could range from four to nine hours, with traffic moving at walking speeds. The study, conducted by KLD Associates, examined evacuation times for the entire Sonoma Valley, including Oakmont, Kenwood, Glen Ellen, and the city of Sonoma.
