TRAFFIC CRAWLING: (1:15 pm) ‘Road construction’ has Highway 101 in Rohnert Park reduced to one lane in both directions. The reason listed by Caltrans is ‘ROAD CONSTRUCTION.’
UPDATE (1:40 pm): Several drivers have contacted KSRO over the past two hours, saying they see NO construction and not one person from Caltrans, just the orange cones for miles.
UPDATE (2:50 pm): Southbound 101 at 116/Gravenstein Hwy is backed up to Hearn Ave/Yolanda Ave (video), with up to 1-hour delays reported.
UPDATE (3pm) Northbound 101, the cones have been picked up, and traffic is starting to flow to Santa Rosa.
