At least one person is injured after a series of crashes on Highway 101 at Highway 12 in Santa Rosa.
The crashes on Thursday evening backed up traffic for miles. At least six vehicles were involved in the crashes, which happened in the southbound lanes of Highway 101. During one of the crashes, a semitruck lost a load of lumber.
The CHP says all of the vehicles involved have major damage and the person who was injured is in serious condition.
