Two public meetings about a proposed high-rise project in downtown Santa Rosa are postponed indefinitely.
The meetings, one scheduled for Monday night, were organized by Petaluma-based Cornerstone Properties. The company was looking for preliminary feedback on its proposal to build a pair of 24-story skyscrapers on a former city-owned parking lot. Last week, the Santa Rosa City Council moved to take back ownership of one of the parcels of land that make up the project.
The council found that the company violated the sale agreement by failing to develop the property and two other projects years in the making.
