This year’s Sonoma County Hot Air Balloon Classic is in the books. It was held Saturday and Sunday at the County Fairgrounds in Santa Rosa.
This year featured the 82-foot-tall Darth Vader balloon and the 62-foot-tall Yoda balloon. The creators, from Belgium, got the okay from Lucasfilm to use the “Star Wars” characters.
Hot air balloons remained tethered on Saturday morning. The launch was negated because of fog and wind.
