This afternoon, several legislators from the North Bay will host a forum to discuss funding for Sonoma State University.
They want to decide how to best allocate the 45-million-dollars in one-time funding the school is slated to receive. The funding is included in the state budget. The rescue package, secured by lawmakers in June, is designed to support a long-term turnaround plan for SSU.
The forum will be held from two to five p.m. at SSU’s Wine Spectator Learning Center.
