Unemployment in the North Bay is on the rise for the second straight month.
The state Employment Development Department says all six counties in the region had a higher unemployment rate in July than in June. Sonoma County’s grew from four-point-seven to four-point-nine percent. It was four-point-five percent in July of last year.
Lake County had the highest jobless rate in the North Bay last month, at seven-point-six percent, while Napa County had the lowest, at four-point-four percent.
