A SWAT standoff in Santa Rosa Monday night ends with one man shot.
Deputies responded around 6 p.m. to reports that 50-year-old Mauricio Flores was armed and had threatened his daughter and her mother at a Guerneville-area home. After hours of negotiations, Flores reportedly shot himself in the chest.
He was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and a firearm was recovered.
Flores is being booked on charges including making death threats, resisting arrest, and threatening a law enforcement officer.
