After a temporary closure, a popular Santa Rosa pizza spot is back in business.
Rosso Pizzeria and Wine Bar, located on Montgomery Drive, is now open again under new ownership. According to the Press Democrat, husband and wife team John and Linda Ahmadi took over after the restaurant suddenly closed in February.
Linda Ahmadi says customers can expect the same wood-fired pizzas, salads, and wine list that the restaurant was known for, along with a newly freshened-up, family-oriented vibe. The owners also plan to add new menu items, happy hour, and seasonal specials in the future.
Rosso is open Monday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., and until 9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. They are closed on Sundays.
