A student at Rio Lindo Adventist Academy in Healdsburg has died.
The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office confirmed Tuesday that the student passed away on August 28th during a campus-wide activity. According to the Press Democrat, the cause of death has not been released. However, a sheriff’s spokesperson said that initial information suggests it may have been medical in nature, and they are awaiting the coroner’s report.
In a Facebook post, the school said that classes were canceled for several days to allow students and staff to grieve.
