The North Bay is finally getting a taste of fall with its first measurable rain since May.
Light showers began Monday night, bringing two-tenths of an inch in Santa Rosa, a few hundredths in Petaluma, and three-tenths in Yountville. Meteorologists say the pattern of scattered showers and possible evening thunderstorms could last through Thursday, with some areas seeing up to a quarter-inch.
No lightning had been reported as of Tuesday afternoon, but officials urge drivers to stay cautious.
