Southwest Airlines will begin service at Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport next April.
The budget airlines will offer nonstop flights to Denver, San Diego, Las Vegas, and Burbank. San Diego and Las Vegas flights will operate daily, Burbank five days a week, and Denver on Saturdays only. Airport Manager Jon Stout said the partnership has been in the works for 15 years, delayed partly due to runway length.
Southwest COO Andrew Watterson noted the Denver flight could expand next year.
