Authorities have identified the man who died August 31st in a Santa Rosa crash.
Police say 57-year-old Salvador Campos Rizo was driving a Chevrolet Silverado that veered off Highway 12 near Dutton Avenue just before midnight and struck a tree. Rizo was the only person in the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The CHP continues to investigate the cause of the crash.
