Two crashes in just five days have amplified traffic safety concerns in Penngrove.
The Petaluma Argus-Courier reports on Sunday, August 31st, a teenager on a scooter was hit by a truck after running a red light at Petaluma Hill Road and Adobe Road. The teen, who wasn’t wearing a helmet, was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Then on Friday, September 5th, a second crash was reported at Old Redwood Highway and Ely Road. A truck and a sedan collided, and the sedan’s driver was also hospitalized with minor injuries.
These incidents come as residents continue to call for new measures to slow traffic through town.
