Santa Rosa Junior College’s Rosco the Bear Cub has a new look for the new school year. The mascot was in need of some threads after getting a new body suit.
The Press Democrat reports the college’s marketing team turned to the fashion studies department. Students eagerly volunteered to create a unique outfit from dozens of recycled jeans. The result was a custom pair of patchwork denim overalls that are not only stylish but safe for the students who wear the suit.
The new look was unveiled at back-to-school events, and the response was nothing but smiles.
